BDA utilizes a Navstar Satellite system for planning purposes to locate: protected species, ecologically sensitive areas, hydrologic features, as well as for mapping of land cover. Forestry cruising Archaeological sites and findings Proposed and actual read locations Field collected data may be exported to numerous forms of software for analysis. Site specific databases will be created and employed to meet client specifications. Complete training services are also available. ACCURACIES We currently use the following Trimble Navigational Systems. Each system is used under conditions specific to the accuracy required in the final product. Trimble Basic: 100ft. - 300ft. (waypoints) Trimble Professional: 2.5m (with correction) Trimble ProXR: Submeter (Real time correction) * Accuracies of equipment are from "Trimble Navigation Manuals" Navigational systems are interfaced with: bar code readers, laser rangefinders, water quality field labs, and on map tracking mechanisms to make the data collection phase of projects as efficient as possible.
