Jacksonville Geocoding Project BDA developed the Geocoded Future Land Use and Zoning File for the City of Jacksonville's 2010 Comprehensive Plan. This project required Breedlove, Dennis, & Associates, Inc. to provide an ERDAS based assessment of the type, rate, and distribution of growth in the City; and to facilitate intergovernmental, public and private coordination. Our products generated future land use and zoning GIS polygon coverages using existing digital parcel base maps maintained by the City. The maps provided spatial accuracy to establish the future land use and zoning coverages and provided spatial control in the State Plane Coordinate System for the new coverages. We also generated an interactive procedure whereby lay-users of the GIS would be able to update land use or zoning information without technical knowledge of ARC/INFO.
